Can Scraggy be shiny?
Scraggy can be shiny in Pokémon GO. It can be extremely tough to tell the difference between a shiny Scraggy and a regular Scraggy, so players should keep a close eye on the Pokémon when encountered. A shiny Scraggy looks very similar to its regular variant, but with slightly different hues to its normal colors.
How do you catch a shiny Scraggy in Pokémon GO?
Shiny Scraggy can be encountered in the wild, though the Pokémon doesn’t often spawn. It has occasionally been featured in events that have increased its spawn rate, but the chances of the Pokémon being shiny when found are still very low. Scraggy has also been featured as an Egg Hatch Pokémon as well, so players can hunt for this shiny by walking with 10km Eggs. While Scraggy can be encountered in the wild and occasionally in Egg Hatches, its evolution Scrafty, cannot be encountered in the wild. To obtain a shiny Scrafty, players will need to evolve one from a shiny Scraggy.
