As announced a few days ago, Link will be riding on a motorcycle in upcoming Mario Kart 8 DLC. There might be a chance it appears in The Legend of Zelda Wii U too.

The director of The Legend of Zelda Wii U, Eiji Aonuma, has admitted he would like for the motorcycle to appear in future Zelda games. Aonuma posted on the Miiverse blog his intentions for adding the motorcycle in other games. He said it looks so cool, “I also want it to appear in games I work on“. The only game he’s working on right now is The Legend of Zelda Wii U, so there is a small chance we may see it again.

Many people noticed the motorcycle is of the design of a horse. Link usually rides on Epona in the main games which is a real horse. It would be interesting if Link ditches Epona for the motorcycle instead. The likelihood of that happening in The Legend of Zelda Wii U could be slim however. The first trailer released for the game revealed Link is riding on a horse. The game also looks to be set in a time where modern technology doesn’t exist.

Would you like to see the motorcycle appear in The Legend of Zelda Wii U or other future games?
