While Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific has brought much new content into the free-to-play battle royale, Warzone, Modern Warfare, and Vanguard players are having trouble connecting to multiplayer matches no thanks to the appearance of Dev Error 5476. If you encountered this issue, luckily, people all over the internet have found a few ways to get around the Dev Error 5476.

The weirdest but tried-and-true solution to the Warzone Dev Error 5476 is by changing your Calling Card and Emblem. Usually, this happens when both customization options are set as Randomized. To edit your Calling Card and Emblem, simply:
- Open the game.
- Go to the Barracks tab.
- Check your Emblem. If it’s on Randomized then just change it to any other category. The same goes for your Calling Card.
- Try connecting to the multiplayer lobby, you should now be able to join a match.
2. Verify the Game Files
Corrupted or missing game files might also cause the issue. Here’s you can repair the game files if you’re on PC:
- Open the Battle.net desktop application.
- Click on the Call of Duty: Warzone icon.
- Click the gear icon, choose the Scan and repair option.
- If there are any missing or corrupted files, then you’ll need to reinstall the game.
3. Restart your Game or Gaming Device
The Dev Error 5476 might also happen because your Warzone doesn’t install a new update for some reason. Try resetting the game as well as your gaming device, whether it’s a console or PC, to see if the problem is fixed.
4. Restart your Modem or Router
A modem or router is still a (tiny) computer — only made to handle a specific task, which is managing your internet connections. And like your console or PC, things can go wrong from time to time. Turning off the device, waiting for 10-30 seconds, and turning it on again might’ve freed it from any crashes, IP conflict between connecting devices, or even overheating. The most basic tech advice usually works the best for that reason.
5. Reinstall Call of Duty: Warzone
Nevertheless, if the Warzone Pacific Error 5476 problem still persists when you boot Warzone, then your last and only option is to completely uninstall the game and then reinstall it. Downloading a whopping 50+ GB games can be a headache for some people, so hopefully, it won’t have to come to this. And if it does, I hope it manages to fix the issue.
Call of Duty Warzone is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
