After being teased in a recent blog post by Raven Software, the unprecedented free drop has arrived for Call of Duty: Warzone, with new content being added to the Season Six Battle Pass, focused around Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons coming to Warzone.

In the build-up to the release of Vanguard in November, a plethora of new content has been added to the battle pass, under the banner of Vanguard Tiers. This is made up of 24 tiers and includes many things such as weapon charms, double XP tokens, and sprays/tags to use across both Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

However, the really interesting part is the addition of two-weapon blueprints for Vanguard weapons in Warzone! This is the STG-44 Assault Rifle and the M1 Garand Rifle. These blueprints will allow us to use the guns early with a pre-set build, also giving players the ability to level these guns up, ready for the launch of Vanguard on November 5.

In a post, Raven tells us “When using the two weapon blueprints in Warzone only, you will earn weapon XP for those two weapons. This progress will be tracked and will carry over into Vanguard. However: the Gunsmith will not be available for these two base weapons when they are initially released via their Weapon Blueprints.”

The addition of this content will allow us as players to get our first feel and interaction with weapons with 10 attachments in the Warzone meta, and also how the Vanguard weaponry will feel within the game. This generous content drop comes just a week before the Haunting of Verdansk event on October 19, so it’s safe to safe that its a great month so far for Warzone players in terms of content.
