Another update has arrived for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Update 1.05 is available for download now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release hasn’t been entirely smooth, with users across all platforms reporting problems from lag, to system crashes. These issues have resulted in some rapid-fire updates from Infinity Ward.
Today’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1.05 update clocks in at different harddrive amounts for each of their respective platforms: 2.4GB on PlayStation 4, 3.02G on Xbox One, and close to 8GB on PC. As of yet, no patch notes have been made available, but the last few patches have centered around making small adjustments to various aspects of the game.
Impressions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is all over the place from the community at the moment. The visceral nature of the single-player story is winning praise from some corners, while things like multiplayer map design, lag, and game balance are turning into causes for concern from others. It seems clear that Infinity Ward is putting out as many updates as possible to try and fix issues as soon as they can. This process will at least let people know that their concerns are getting listened to by the development team.
