Over the last few days, it has been reported that 2019 Call of Duty is indeed going to be called Call of Duty Modern Warfare, simple as that.
The game is said to be revealed on May 30, which happens in two days, and it looks to be a rather reliable date for the presentation.
Indeed, new CoD games have always been revealed in May, even though a bit earlier, and official social accounts have changed their profile pics today.
This could mean that Activision might be preparing for the reveal, in the wait to publish the title and the brand new logo for the upcoming game later in the week.
The Call of Duty Facebook and Instagram pages have also gone dark. All posts on the latter have been archived.

It’s worth noting that more rumors have also popped up on the Internet over the last few days, and those are revealing other stuff on how the game will work.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare is indeed going big on cooperative gameplay, as Spec Ops mode will reportedly be back and the campaign will be playable with four player-controlled characters. The co-op focus would explain the lack of a battle royale mode, at least.
It is said to be a soft reboot of the Modern Warfare franchise, and to be featuring a mixture of maps from MW 2 and 3.
The reveal, we learn, will be followed by a gameplay presentation at E3 2019, which could happen at E3 Coliseum where the new game is already confirmed to be coming.
Finally, it seems like this year Call of Duty won’t have a marketing deal with any platform owner, as they’ve done with Sony and won’t be coming back to Microsoft anytime soon.
We’ll post more information as they pop up, of course, so stay tuned.
