Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has launched its August 19 update, so here’s what’s been changed and added with this patch. Outside of the nitty-gritty, today’s update brings with it the new Slums 24/7 mode, letting players get down and dirty on a fan-favorite map with updated graphics. Hell, I still remember playing Slums back in my binging days of Black Ops 2. There’s plenty of other changes though, so no time to waste. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s August 19 update.

The August 19 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War does mainly revolve around playlist updates, but one particular area is worth noting. Both the Tec-9 and EM2 have been completely restricted from League Play, which is a strange choice, to say the least. Given it’s still usable in other modes, it can be assumed that the League Play community wasn’t too happy regarding the weapon’s inclusions. While I’m admittedly ignorant of that community’s feelings regarding the guns, it wouldn’t surprise me that new weapons are missing the fine-tuning they really need. We’ll have to wait for the next balance update to see how Treyarch tweaks things.
