According to the analysis firm Piper Jaffray, blockbusters Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V are going to be Red Dead Redemption 2 in terms of sales this year.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is going to sell 21.5 million copies by the end of the year, say the analysts, while Battlefield V is stopping by around 16 million by the end of March next year. By the same time FIFA 19 is expected to sell 22 million units.
Instead, Red Dead Redemption, claims Piper Jaffray, is expected to sell around 15.5 million units by the end of March 2019. It’s a good milestone although not as huge as GTA V, which is obviously much higher in terms of popularity.
Talking about EA games, Anthem is also going to perform pretty good. The analysts expect the next title from BioWare to sell around 4.5 million copies by the end of March next year, which is rather nice since it is releasing on February 22.
