As expected, the Activision Quarterly conference call contained information about the upcoming Call of Duty game scheduled for this fall. While no insight was provided about the specifics of the game, the Call of Duty Beachhead services were explained in a little more depth. Call of Duty Beachhead will offer a suite of services available by subscription. The subscription would include a content plan, that integrates the online and console experiences together.

A company spokesperson elaborated on the beach head service during the Q&A section of the conference call. He claimed that the Call of Duty Beachhead service would not take away from the core Call of Duty retail experience in any way. It would actually expand on the already robust value that is derived from the purchase of the boxed version of Call of Duty.

More detailed specifics are expected leading up to and at E3 2011.
