Bandai Namco has presented a first look to the characters of Broly and Bardock, who will join the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ as DLC, although the exact release date has not been announced yet. You can check them out on the short teaser videos below, which don’t show any actual battle gameplay, but they do reveal their appearance on the game.
For those not familiar with these characters, Broly is a Legendary Super Saiyan of extreme power and a menacing look. He comes from the same planet as Goku and Vegeta, although he is capable of far more brutal actions than any other Saiyan. Bardock, on the other hand, is the father of Goku, and his look is defined by presenting a tougher look than his son. In the manga, Bardock leads his own squad of Saiyans under the orders of Freeza, until he discovers the real intentions of the iconic villain.
Dragon Ball FighterZ was released in January to excellent reviews and sales, becoming the fastest selling Dragon Ball videogame in history. Perhaps this success was the determining factor that made possible for the game to be included in the EVO 2018 lineup.
