It’s throwback time for Britney Spears as she made a rare post about her ex, Justin Timberlake. The duo used to be an item, and their relationship lasted for three years before they split. She recently brought back the memories by sharing a throwback picture of their times.
Britney Made A Throwback Post Two Years After Justin Openly Apologized
Nearly two years after Justin Timberlake tendered an open apology, she brought the memories back; Britney Spears made a rare post on Instagram that referenced her relationship with him. Britney showed both of them together when the going was smooth.
In the post, she captioned, “When we used to shoot hoops together. That’s when miracles happened”. The post featured a picture of her and Justin dressed in matching basketball uniforms.
Justin Tendered An Open Apology To Britney
After the debut of Hulu‘s framing of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake made a public apology to Britney saying that he is sorry for the time he contributed to the issue. He apologized for the times he spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right.
Individually, he apologized to Britney and Janet Jackson because according to him, he respects both women. Justin feels everyone deserves better and most importantly because it is a conversation that he wants to be part of and also grow from.
Per Us Weekly, the actor also spoke out against Britney Spears’ conservatorship saying that no woman should be restricted from making decisions about her own body, nor should anyone be held against their will. Britney Spears’ 13-months controversial conservatorship ended in November 2021. However, the Friends With Benefits actor sent support to her.
Justin shares two sons, Silas, 7, and Phineas, 2 with his wife Jessica Biel. Britney on the other hand tied the knot with Sam Asghari in June 2022. Before her marriage to Asghari, she shared two sons, Sean, 17, Jayden, and 16 with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
