Britney Spears has broken her silence concerning her meltdown in public. After the video of an alleged ‘manic episode’ that made her go viral, Britney Spears decided to address the issue.
The 41-year-old singer and her 28-year-old husband, Sam Asghari visited the JOEY restaurant in Woodland Hills, LA, on Friday. Unfortunately, the date went downhill as patrons of the restaurant began to take pictures and videos of the pop star and her beau.
The reactions of the people in the restaurant made Spears yell as she reportedly started ‘talking gibberish.’ Ashgari soon walked out of the restaurant while Spears sat alone muttering to herself. The music star would later make her way out of the restaurant with her bodyguard.
How Did Britney Spears Address Public Meltdown In LA Restaurant?
A day after the Toxic singer’s meltdown, she posted a meme on Instagram which read, “They told me I couldn’t, that’s why I did!” The message was very cryptic and many wondered if she referred to her latest meltdown at the LA restaurant.
In her most recent post, the Baby One More Time singer seemingly addressed her meltdown again. Spears explained how she “watched “NATURAL BORN KILLERS” this morning and damn I got ENLIGHTENED.”
The singer continued by referring to her meltdown adding that she was sure she brought a “billion SMILES for ‘LOOKING LIKE SHREK’ at a restaurant…” Spears talked about how she was a little drunk in the restaurant but the photos taken of her were overhyped. When the singer saw the picture of her meltdown she was horrified. She relayed, “two pics where I was normal … either way honestly I know nobody gives a flying f**k what I do !!!…”

Fans have been concerned about the pop Icon’s behavior in public. In recent months, Spears has posted some near-nude images and videos on her social media.
