Two years after its announcement back at E3 2019, Nintendo capped off its E3 2021 Direct with a brief update on The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2. This short teaser trailer shows off a few gameplay moments and reveals a 2022 release date. You can see the teaser trailer down below:
As seen in the teaser, the setting for Breath of the Wild 2 has been expanded to include the skies above Hyrule.
This wasn’t the only Legend of Zelda news coming out of E3 2021. Nintendo also shared new looks at upcoming DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Skyward Sword HD, the latter of which is expected to release on July 16.
To celebrate the franchise’s 35th anniversary, Nintendo is releasing a new Zelda-themed Game and Watch handheld system. This device can play The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, and Link’s Awakening. The Zelda-themed Game and Watch device launches on November 12.
