James Conrad From Brad Pitt’s New Film

Brad Pitt’s new film Babylon saw him portraying the silent movie star, James Conrad, and somehow, he was in sync with the character. Apart from knowing his lines and mastering the perfect gestures, Pitt saw himself in Conrad. The actor defended their likeness by telling W Magazine:

“Sadly enough, that melancholy may be my natural mode of being, some congenital melancholy.”

Angelina Jolie‘s ex-husband concluded on the note that the world was sinking in weariness, something Conrad accentuated with his personality. Working with director Damien Chazelle on Brad Pitt’s new film Babylon was a fulfilling ordeal. Pitt had been in awe of Chazelle since he directed Whiplash.

The movie star hailed the filmmaker for putting together a great piece, mentioning that Chazelle’s love for music has always played a vital role in his creations. In a smooth transition, Pitt talked about his most passionate moment on-screen. He pitched Dallas, where he appeared in four episodes.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which became his debut with Angelina Jolie, also made the list. This film marked the beginning of a friendship that led to marriage and later divorce between the two.

Brad Pitt’s new film is one everybody should see.
