Borderlands social channels are being populated with a new picture of Handsome Jack and Pandora, while all the users around the world await for the first official news about the next game in the series.

“It’s cute that you all think you’re the heroes of this little adventure, but you’re not. Welcome to Pandora, kiddos,” says the description attached to the tweet and the Facebook share, in a quote that you might recall from the title.

Interestingly, this has generated a lot of conversations on the social networks and forums, and split the community among those who say Gearbox Software regularly shares stuff like this and others who claim this is a bit unusual especially looking at how imminent San Diego Comic-Con is.

While it might be a bit early for Borderlands 3, as the game was likely delayed into 2020 during the latest Take-Two’s meeting with the investors, there’s the possibility of an incoming PS4 and Xbox One remaster for the original Borderlands.

It was out of the Handsome Jack Collection that released a while ago on Microsoft and Sony’s consoles, which only features Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, so why not.

Do you think this is anything worth looking at, or just another teaser to keep the momentum up among the fans?
