If you haven’t had a chance to try out Borderlands 3 just yet, Gearbox Software has a huge opportunity to do so—on the house. The team has announced that the game is free to play all weekend for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Anyone can jump on and enjoy what the full game has to offer between now and Nov. 24. All you need to do is download it here for Xbox One, or here for PlayStation 4.
On top of that, those who wish to indulge in more Vault Hunting after the weekend can pick it up for cheaper. Borderlands 3 will be available for 33 percent off its normal price, making it a steal at $39.99. The sale takes place through Nov. 24, so you’ve got some time to pick it up. And, yes, any progress you make over the course of the free weekend carries over into the full game.
It’s also worth noting that this is a good opportunity to get the game before the first campaign DLC, Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, drops next month on Dec. 19.
Alas, this free weekend isn’t available for PC owners. But don’t worry, you have your own game to enjoy over the next few days.
Fatshark has announced that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is free to play all weekend long on Steam. From now through Nov. 24, players can team up and take down hordes of rat enemies and other foul creatures at no charge. This includes the additional DLC packs, too.
Furthermore, if players like what they play, they can download the full game for a 75 percent discount off the regular price.
The game is available for download here on Steam. Check out the gameplay trailer below to see it in action.
