For Borderlands 3 players, chances are you’ve played through the first Season Pass worth of DLC. From the Handsome Jackpot of Moxxi to the confusing mess that is Psycho Krieg’s mind, there’s plenty to be had just from there. For those hungering for more though, the Designer’s and Director’s cuts are sure to satiate your appetite. Today, the Borderlands 3 team showcased two new skill trees coming to Amara and FL4K with the Designer’s Cut DLC release.

Borderlands 3’s New Skill Trees and Action Skills

Amara’s new skill tree in Borderlands 3 is Enlightened Force, giving her abilities and damage that elemental touch. Focusing around cryo elemental effects, you’ll be running through battles and freezing enemies to set them up for the kill. Some of the passive abilities include helping her maximize damage with cryo and slow enemies down. This goes really well with Phaseflare, Amara’s fourth possible action skill. This skill summons a massive ball of destruction, moving down a straight path and destroying anything in its way. This will go well with the new skill tree, allowing you to set enemies up for a beautiful Phaseflare.

For FL4K, their new Borderlands 3 skill tree is Trapper, focusing on giving a bunch of survivability to both FL4K and their pet. These skills include shield bonuses, added damage towards critical strikes, and much more! If you’ve been wanting to make a tank FL4K build, this new tree is just what you’re looking for. You’re probably wondering why it’s called Trapper though, which is where their new Gravity Snare action skill. This tosses enemies into the air, only to violently slam them into the ground for massive damage. That sounds pretty brutal if you ask me.
