The Souls series has been one of the hardest in all of gaming for awhile now and Bloodborne did nothing to end that trend. As a result, getting every trophy in the game for the Platinum trophy would be near impossible for many gamers, but Sony is giving those who did a special treat.
Those who managed to obtain the incredibly difficult Platinum trophy in Bloodborne are getting emails from Sony with a special gift for the hard work and dedication.
The special surprise for the Platinum trophy owners in Bloodborne is an exclusive theme based on the game, which I have to say is rather awesome. The email being sent out specifically says that it is only for “Hunters that have won the Platinum trophy,” so it appears this will remain exclusive, at least in the short term.
I’m really hoping this begins a trend with Sony on their first party games, and maybe even other publishers as well. It makes striving for the Platinum trophy more than just a bragging rights kind of thing, as you are actually earning something exclusive for it.
