Bloodborne is the next big Sony exclusive, which is set to arrive for the PlayStation 4 next Tuesday, so there is a lot of talk about it right now. Gamers who are fans of the Dark Souls and Demon Souls series are dying for the next taste of pain, but according to a report on Reddit, the players may be experiencing more issues than just dying a lot.
According to a post on Reddit, which was demonstrated in a video , Bloodborne reportedly has some very long load times after each death. According to the provided video, after dying in the game, it takes about 40 seconds to get back going again, with a simple load screen up the entire time between. The video given can be see right here, if you are interested in seeing how long it is for yourself.
There is a very good chance that load times in Bloodborne will vary between areas, but seeing this is definitely a little worrisome, as gamers will likely be dying over and over again. Hopefully if this is the case on most every death, we will see it improved through patches around launch. Remember, From Software did patch in load time improvements for Dark Souls 2.
We should get a better idea of whether lengthy load times will be a problem for Bloodborne when the game releases on Tuesday, March 24 exclusively for PS4.
